CAS Workshop:
A Competency Assessment Supplement (CAS) is that you complete after the College has done an assessment of your nursing education and any current or past nursing practice you may have. If you have no nursing practice, you will also be asked to complete the CAS.
If the College asks you to complete the CAS that it means there are gaps in your nursing knowledge, skill or judgment that must be addressed before you can be registered in Canada. CAS gives you the opportunity to fill those gaps by giving us examples from your own nursing education and experience that expresses how you demonstrate your competencies in your day-to-day practice.
